Flippies are cards stacks that are put together in such a way that when the child runs their fingers over the cards, they flip up. 
 
This is a great sensory activity that also marks each sound as the child blends for reading.
 
There is a template (in Excel) that enables you to make any word (up to four sounds) into a Flippie. Print out and assemble. Full instructions provided.
